Harry Sherrard is the principal of Sherrards, and has been a specialist employment lawyer for over 20 years. Described in Chambers as “well known and respected” in the market, and appreciated for his “common-sense approach and manner.” In The Legal 500 he is recommended for his “practical, immediate advice.”
Jane is an experienced employment law solicitor who qualified in 2006. Having worked in several other regional law firms, Jane has successfully represented clients in many different sectors including the aviation, travel, construction, retail and public sectors. Jane is friendly, efficient and approachable and spends time getting to know her clients and the intricacies of their business in order to offer practical, workable and commercial legal solutions tailored to suit their needs.
Dan, a Director of Sherrards, is a very experienced employment law specialist solicitor. He has represented the firm’s clients at many Employment Tribunals around the UK, and provides advice on a wide range of employment issues. Dan is noted for his incisive but practical approach to employment law issues.
Rachel joined Sherrards in November 2018. Rachel graduated from the University of Brighton with an LLB (Honours) and went on to complete a Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Guildford. Rachel is highly driven and strives to provide excellent client service. Outside of work Rachel enjoys spending time with family and friends and travelling.
Director of Sherrards, Behavioural Coach and Licensed Menopause Champion
Lorraine is a Director of Sherrards and Sherrards Occupational Health and is a highly experienced HR Consultant.
Lorraine joined the team at Sherrards in 2004 and has worked on a wide range of HR initiatives with many clients over the past 20 years. Previously Lorraine spent 15 years in the airline industry working for Aer Lingus and Swissport Ground Handling, where she studied her CIPD and managed recruitment and training projects. She has experience within the charity sector from several years as a Trustee to an Outdoor Education Centre providing opportunities for young people.
More recently she has trained within the discipline of NLP coaching, becoming an accredited QTT™ Behavioural Coach. Lorraine is looking forward to introducing it to our clients. Lorraine is our resident menopause expert and is licensed to deliver training to clients in this area.
Lorraine has always loved travel from those early airline days and keeping active is important to her. She runs to half marathon level with her club and is regularly seen out on her bike or at boot camp.
Sarah joined the team at Sherrards in March 2010 and is responsible for all marketing activities from seminars and workshops to advertising, exhibitions, PR and e-marketing.
Sarah started her marketing career in the high technology industry and has held marketing communications roles in many other industries including pharmaceuticals, recruitment, training and design. She has also worked as a freelance marketing consultant for several small to medium sized businesses.
Business Development Manager
Laura joined Sherrards in February 2017 and undertakes a varied role in the team, but primarily focuses on business development and marketing. A former Business Analyst for a multifaceted business, Laura’s role includes developing contacts, ascertaining and fulfilling the needs of current and prospective clients.
