Meet the Sherrards Team

The Sherrards team is a diverse mix of high calibre legal and HR professionals. As well as the core members of the team, Sherrards is able to access the expertise of a range of other lawyers and HR consultants who carry out assignments for the firm.

Harry Sherrard

Harry Sherrard is the Principal of Sherrards, and has been a specialist employment lawyer for 30 years. Harry is described as “well known and respected” in the market, and appreciated for his “common-sense approach and manner.” Harry writes and lectures widely on employment law issues and conducts training programmes throughout the UK.

Dan Soanes

Dan, a Director of Sherrards, is a very experienced employment law specialist solicitor. He has represented the firm’s clients at many Employment Tribunals around the UK, and provides advice on a wide range of employment issues. Dan is noted for his incisive but practical approach to employment law issues.

Rachel Nicholas

Rachel joined Sherrards in November 2018. Rachel graduated from the University of Brighton with an LLB (Honours) and went on to complete a Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Guildford. Rachel is highly driven and strives to provide excellent client service. Outside of work Rachel enjoys spending time with family and friends and travelling.

Business Development Manager

Laura Tullett

Laura joined Sherrards in February 2017 and undertakes a varied role in the team, but primarily focuses on business development and marketing. A former Business Analyst for a multifaceted business, Laura’s role includes developing contacts, ascertaining and fulfilling the needs of current and prospective clients.

Marketing Manager

Sarah Hammant

Sarah joined the team at Sherrards in March 2010 and is responsible for all marketing activities from seminars and workshops to advertising, exhibitions, PR and e-marketing. Sarah started her marketing career in the high technology industry and has held marketing communications roles in many other industries including pharmaceuticals, recruitment, training and design. She has also worked as a freelance marketing consultant for several small to medium sized businesses.

Practice Manager

Pam Austen

Pam joined the team of Sherrards in a newly created role of Practice Manager taking on the responsibility for general management of the firm. Pam has extensive knowledge of operational management at executive and senior level positions working in a range of disciplines and across established organisations and start-ups. This experience has been predominately in the telecoms industry and more recently the legal sector. In her spare time Pam likes spending time with her family and friends, long walks with her dog, going to the cinema and travelling.
